The dates for Frodsham's new literature festival have been announced.
Taking place from 29th August to 9th September 2012, the festival called Weaver Words will offer a wide range of talks, workshops and events, appealing to all ages and backgrounds.
Calendar Girls writer, Tim Firth, has agreed to be the Festival’s patron, and the Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, will be among a number of high profile speakers.
Already nearly twelve months of discussion has gone into the planning of Weaver Words. A grant application has been made to Arts Council England but the festival organisers are also seeking support from the local business community to help turn the plans into reality.
